Your investor deck (PDF), verified email address, and verified mobile number, collected during our email and phone verification step, before you're able to upload a deck. Before upload, we also collect the answers you give in our short pre-upload questionnaire: sector, funding stage, currency, funding raised to date and from whom, current revenue, target raise amount, and your company website.
Upload access is gated behind a two-step verification (email code, then SMS code) to prevent spam uploads, confirm you're a real person before we generate your report, and maintain a reliable record of who a deck and report belongs to.
Your deck is analysed to generate your investability score and report. Your email and mobile number are used to verify your identity; your mobile number is not used for any notification. Paid tiers (Gap Tier, Full Report, and the Investor Readiness Session) receive a single email notification once that report is ready; the Free Tier does not, results are shown directly on-screen once your check completes. We do not send marketing messages to your mobile number.
No human ever looks at your deck. Deck Gap operates on a closed-loop basis: your deck and report are never shared with, forwarded to, or made visible to any investor, fund, introduction service, or other person. There is no automated investor matching or routing.
Your deck is processed automatically by the small set of service providers that power the platform — including our AI provider, which processes your deck's text to generate your analysis, and our payment, messaging, and security providers, each used only for their specific function. None of these providers use, view, or retain your data for their own purposes.
Retention depends on the choice you make at upload:
All uploads are additionally covered by the mutual confidentiality agreement signed before upload. See that agreement for the specific commitments made by both parties.
Deck Gap is operated by Kristian Beaumont, trading as a sole trader, from the United Kingdom. This policy is governed by the law of England and Wales.
